Legal Liability

This emergency stay is a private, home-based safe space offered voluntarily and free of charge. By booking or entering the property, you agree to the following terms:

 

1. No Professional Services

This stay does not provide professional, licensed, or medical services. I am not a shelter, social worker, therapist, legal representative, or law-enforcement agency. This is simply a temporary safe space offered person-to-person.

 

2. Personal Responsibility

Guests are responsible for their own decisions, safety plans, and next steps. I do not assume liability for any choices guests make before, during, or after their stay.

 

3. No Long-Term Housing

This stay is strictly 24 hours only. I cannot provide long-term housing, ongoing placement, or guaranteed resources beyond your short stay.

 

4. Safety Protocols

To protect my family, myself, and all guests:

• No men or partners are allowed on the property.

• Cameras are present in common areas ONLY.

• Any threat or disruption to the home will result in immediate removal and/or law enforcement contact.

• All house rules presented in the About section on this webpage must be followed.

 

5. Property Rules Must Be Followed

Any violation of house rules, located on the "About" page, and safety protocols may result in immediate dismissal from the property with no guarantee of reentry.

 

6. Limited Liability

By accepting a stay, you agree that the homeowner is not legally responsible for:

    •    actions taken by guests or anyone with a relationship with the guest,

    •    incidents outside the property,

    •    legal outcomes involving guests,

    •    lost, damaged, or stolen items,

    •    injuries caused by misconduct or rule violations.

 

7. Emergency Situations

I reserve the right to contact emergency services if I believe a guest is in immediate danger, medically unstable, or poses a threat to themselves or others.

 

8. Information Privacy

Any personal information shared with me will remain private unless required for safety reasons or legally mandated disclosures.
